With Thanksgiving and Black Friday behind us, the sprint toward Christmas has begun.

Wednesday, Swirlery hosts a tasting of grower Champagnes, The Vineyard holds a wine dinner with Winemaker Steve Doernerr of Oregon’s Cristom Vineyards, and Tim’s Windermere features Nickel & Nickel and Far Niente wines at a tasting event.

Week 2: December 8-14

Sunday, Tim’s Avalon Park holds a class on cabernet sauvignon, and Luisa’s Cellar hosts a tasting of Napa wines.

Wednesday, Luma on Park hosts a pairing dinner with winegrower Chris Howell of Napa’s Cain Winery.

Thursday, Swirlery features pairings of Godiva truffles and wine.

Week 3: December 15-21

Sunday, The Wine Room’s Champagne & Cheese Festival is already sold out, but Luisa’s Cellar is holding a bubbles and cheese event of its own.
