‘Tis the season for celebrating, and what a festive wine-filled week we have coming up in Central Florida!

The calendar is brimming with tastings and dinners. You’ll be faced with some tough choices, but the good news is, it’ll be hard to make a bad decision. There’s not room here to even begin to list every event, so here are some highlights, but be sure to check the Events Page for the full list.

Saturday (tomorrow) is a harbinger of things to come, with six wine events on that day alone. Three of them are free, including The Parkview’s tasting of wines from Alsace producer Hugel & Fils.

Sunday, get a jump start on Thursday’s Beaujolais Day celebrations with an all-Beaujolais pairing dinner at The Ravenous Pig, with wines by Digress Wine.

Monday, explore the “World of Riesling” with a tasting at Tim’s Avalon Park.

Tuesday, taste with Master Sommelier Emily Pickral at Bella Tuscany.

Wednesday, sample sparkling wine from around the world with Central Florida Women for Winesense, or see how an array of Bordeaux wines pair with traditional holiday foods with Tim’s Wine Market.

Thursday, Beaujolais Day celebrations at Swirlery, Luisa’s Cellar, and Tim’s Lake Mary-Sanford will take you well beyond Nouveau.

Friday, explore wines from Argentina’s Bodega Catena Zapata with vintner Laura Catena at Wine Bar George.

Saturday, Luisa’s Cellar holds a wine and Thanksgiving tapas pairing, or go straight to Christmas when Tim’s Orlando curates the annual Jingle Eve Wine Walk in Ivanhoe Village.

Check the Events Page for details and a full listing of the many, many events in the coming weeks.

Cheers to the festive season, Orlando!
