There’s much to be thankful for as we approach next week’s food-and-wine-centered holiday.

One reason for gratitude is the bubbling up of of several free (or almost free) Bordeaux tastings at two Tim’s Wine Market locations between now and Sunday. (The first one starts at 3pm today!) Check the Events Page for details.

The festive wine season continues apace in Orlando, both before and after Thanksgiving. Here are a few highlights for the coming week:

Orlando’s Week in Wine

This evening (Friday), stop by Quantum Leap Winery to sample Thanksgiving appetizers from Cuisiners Catering paired with wines from Quantum Leap and Snowbirds Vintners.

Tomorrow (Saturday), Luisa’s Cellar holds a wine and Thanksgiving tapas pairing, and Tim’s Orlando curates the annual Jingle Eve Wine Walk in Ivanhoe Village.

Sunday is the last of the Bordeaux events – a master class at Tim’s Avalon Park taught by Orlando’s resident Master of Wine Jean Reilly.

Tuesday, Bella Tuscany hosts a Champagne tasting paired with small plates.

Next Saturday, take a break from shopping with Luisa’s Cellar’s Shop Small Saturday Wine & Brew Festival.

As always, details for these events and many more coming up in December are on the Events Page.

A Word of Thanks

In this time of gratitude, I’d like to offer my sincere thanks to all of you for coming with me on wine journeys near and far.

Together, we are building Central Florida’s wine culture, and I’m grateful that you choose to spend a little of your time and attention here on the blog.

Cheers to you, and happy Thanksgiving!
