ORLANDO’S WEEK IN WINE
Today (Sunday), tour Italy from top to bottom with a tasting at Tim’s Avalon Park.
Tuesday is the makeup day for a Dorian-delayed German wine class presented by Central Florida Women for Winesense.
Wednesday, Luke’s Kitchen & Bar hosts a pairing dinner with wines from Stag’s Leap in Napa, and Quantum Leap Winery teaches you how to assess the quality of wine through tasting.
Thursday, Swirlery hosts a tasting of New Zealand wines, and Tim’s Lake Mary showcases the cabernet franc grape with a free sampling event.
Next Sunday, Tim’s Windermere hosts a big tasting of Duckhorn’s family of wines.
Check the Calendar Page for details of these and quite a few other events next week, as well as tastings that will get your October off to a good start.
As I mentioned last week, when you read this, I’ll be deep in the vineyards of Germany on a press trip with a small group of wine writers from around the country. I hope you’re following my adventures on Instagram and Facebook! All the information in this post was correct when it was written, but check the links above or call the establishments in question before you head out, just in case.
Cheers, Orlando!
