Orlando’s Week in Wine

Wednesday, a class at Tim’s Orlando explores the unsung Bordeaux grapes of cabernet franc, petit verdot, and malbec (though if you read my recent post on the big changes afoot in Bordeaux, you’ll know those grapes will soon seem like the old standbys!).

Thursday, Tim’s Lake Mary honors Nelson Mandela’s birthday with a free tasting of South African wines; then head down the road to Luisa’s Cellar for a wine and cupcake pairing that promises to go beyond just sweet wines.

Friday, Mount Dora’s Lakeside Inn holds a French wine dinner, while K Restaurant takes you to Spain with a tasting in the garden.

Saturday, Luke’s Kitchen & Bar hosts the latest in its Bubbles & Brunch pairing series.

Sunday, get ready for the work week by becoming a more “Educated Consumer” with this beginner wine class at Tim’s Avalon Park.

Details for these and many more newly posted events are on the Calendar Page.

Cheers, Orlando!
