Lots is happening on the Orlando wine scene in the coming week, but unfortunately, most of the events fall on the same day, so you’ve got some tough choices to make. Here are some highlights to help you decide!
Orlando’s Week in Wine
Today (Saturday), Eola General is hosting a free natural wine tasting with wines from the still forthcoming Curate Art + Wine.
Tuesday, The Wine Barn is serving up paella to accompany a Spanish wine tasting, Tim’s Orlando hosts an open house tasting of wines from France’s Domaine de Fondreche, and importer/distributor Skurnik is staging a takeover of Swirlery’s Blind Tasting Tuesday.
Wednesday, Tim’s Lake Mary holds a wine and cheese pairing class, and Tim’s Orlando conducts the popular Educated Consumer class.
Thursday is the big day with six events on tap. The full list is on the Calendar Page, but highlights include a tasting of lesser known Italian grape varietals at Digress, a class on Sherry, Port, and Madeira at Luisa’s Cellar, and The Wine Barn’s first wine dinner under new ownership with the winemaker from Jamieson Ranch.
Details for all these events, plus more in the coming weeks, are on the Calendar Page. Good luck with your decision making, and cheers to a plethora choices, Orlando!
