There’s plenty of Central Florida wine-ing to be done this weekend. In case you missed the highlights in last week’s post, all the info is still on the Events Page!

Now it’s time to plan for next week, from a trip to the Iberian peninsula, to two Napa wine dinners, to wines for gift giving – no worries about wrong sizes there!

Here are a few highlights:

Orlando’s Week in Wine

Sunday is The Wine Room on Park Ave.’s popular Champagne & Cheese Festival – so popular, in fact, that it sold out almost immediately. They added a second date for next Sunday that still has some tickets left.

Tuesday, Bella Tuscany offers a tasting of “pretty wines that look pretty in the bottle” – in other words, wines that make good gifts.

Wednesday, travel to Spain and Portugal with Digress Wine’s “Wild Iberia” tasting, which is the inspiration for this week’s photo. Look closely and see if you can spot the Alhambra!

Thursday, 1921 Mount Dora hosts a pairing dinner with Chappellet‘s Napa Valley wines.

Friday, you can stay in Napa with Hemisphere Restaurant’s Winter Wine Dinner featuring Frank Family wines.

Next Saturday (December 8), Tim’s Avalon Park hosts a holiday tasting with multiple distributors pouring samples. Proceeds will be donated to local charities.

There are plenty of other options, including more free Bordeaux tastings and a pork and pinot pairing, plus many more events later in December. Be sure to check the Events Page for details.

Cheers!
