ORLANDO’S WEEK IN WINE

Wednesday, Luisa’s Cellar holds a class exploring how soil affects wine.

Thursday, Tim’s Lake Mary offers a “new look” at the much-maligned merlot grape with a free tasting, and Digress features wines from Napa’s Grgich Hills and Mt. Eden in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Saturday, Tim’s Windermere holds a blind tasting of cabernets ranging from $10-$150, and Tim’s Orlando welcomes winemaker Jose Luis Alvarez who’ll be cooking paella and pouring Spanish and Portuguese wines.

Check the Calendar Page for details for these events and many more, stretching into July.
