Next week brings another opportunity to travel the world through wine, plus a few other fun events around the Orlando area. Let’s get right to it – here’s …

ORLANDO’S WEEK IN WINE!

I wrote about this weekend‘s events in last week’s post, but in case you’ve forgotten, there are some good ones, so check the Calendar Page!

Tuesday, sip Champagne from Besserat de Bellefon, one of my early favorite Champagne producers, under the stars in the courtyard outside Tim’s Orlando.

Wednesday, spend the afternoon with Dry Creek Valley winemaker Clay Mauritson and his eponymous wines at Wine Bar George and the evening with an array of Greek wine and food at Swirlery.

Thursday, indulge in The Wine Room’s “Big Orin Swift Event,” or head up to Tim’s Lake Mary for a free tasting with Opici Distributors.

Saturday is the Dunhill Companies’ annual tasting featuring back vintages of mostly Old World wines to benefit Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Details for these events and others stretching into May – believe it or not! – are on the Calendar Page.

Cheers Orlando!
